In the first quarter of 2021, Latin America saw significant engagement with Food and Diet tracking apps on the Android platform. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of the top five applications in this category.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter maintained a steady user base, with weekly active users peaking at 340K in early January and downloads hitting a high of 33K in the same period. The app saw a slight dip in revenue towards the end of the quarter, but downloads and active users remained relatively consistent.

BodyFast: Intermittent Fasting experienced a strong start to the quarter with revenue peaking at 9K in the first week of January. The app's downloads reached a high of 52K in the same week, but both metrics saw a gradual decline throughout the quarter, with active users dipping to 47K by the end of March.

Fastic: Fasting & Food Tracker had its highest number of weekly active users at the start of the quarter with 191K, although this number decreased to 101K by the end of March. Downloads showed a similar trend, starting at 207K in the last week of December and then gradually dropping to 28K by the end of March.
